Friends near and far
I wonder why sometimes it is so much easier to make friends with people who live far far away as opposed to those who live around the corner. Is it something to dear with proximity? Is it because you can be good friends with someone who lives in England, but not someone who lives ten miniutes away in your city because you know you'll likely never see them, except maybe via cam or electronic email? I can't for the life of me seem to interest women who live here while I am a regular Don Juan with those who live 500, 1000, 2000 miles away or more. Makes no sense to me. Perhaps I have a secret to me but not everyone else reputation around here, while those who live far far away have not heard?

Occassionally some brave female will try a meeting with me. And usually they don't run screaming for the hills, well not very often anyway. I wonder if its maybe because they would actually like the person close by, get involved, have sex, etc and then what?? Too close makes for too much trouble? Or is it because they want a permanent type relationship and they know I can't give that. Mind you I'm not just a casual fuck either...so I am puzzled.

I have even gone to visit women I have met here who live far away and in almost every case they were very receptive. And in some cases we even shared intimacy. So cool! Yet I can hardly get women here to go out for coffee or lunch? I must say it can be quite damaging to the ego...lol. At least my local ego.... In my travels this summer I met several women, all of whom were glad to meet me and one of whom was quite sorry I didn't live around the block! Yet that is rarely the case here at home.

Not really sure what it is about my home personality that detracts...maybe thos e of you who read this and hhave met me can tell me why? Send me an email? Drop me a line, throw me a bone...whatever. Lol.

I actually have heard this from a few others on here. The<b> proximity </font></b>thing vs the far away safety thing. I am one of those rare birds who will actually travel or bring you to me if my interest level and yours matches. I have done that a few times. Mind you the results are mixed, but more often good than bad.

I suppose it shall remain a mystery of life...lol.
