That is unfortunately oh so true, CHIEF... Thank you, frangie sweetie. This was fun, and I have many more categories in mind.  LOL! Sorry about that ZZ. I saw that you were in koocnachtiek's blog as I was posting all the questions. I posted those first so I could enter the values in for the links in the main post here. Oy! That is to our advantage, my ol pal!  Part of my inspiration for this project derives from my love of history Juicy, my old blogging friend. BlogLand is no exception. Thus, (along with being quite insane), I have become the greatest, and most fearless deep-blog diver in the annals of all BlogLand. BlogLand's underground contains works of Art and Amusement that are worthy of visiting, and even revisiting. Also, ever the storyteller, I do enjoy referring to the significant events of the early days here. For the benefit of the curious as well as for the reminiscences of the veterens. Yikes! I have never been able to control my long-windedness. It just gushes sometimes... Excellent! Thank you for supporting The Venting Blog as always, LT. I'm gonna get a lotta mileage from this basic platform. Stay tuned... I always smile when you let me know you've been in for a visit, happylady. Besides, that shadow pic of yours really sends me, baby! Ha ha, wahinie sweetie! The allotted time was not nearly long enough for what I have envisioned with you... PS: I betcha ya left that comment BEFORE you clicked on your link in RHYME TIME... Ahh, thank you so much for saying that, Seriously. Sincerely. That simple sentence gives me much satisfaction, and is my reward for taking on the larger projects such as this one. Blog On! DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! Daph has correctly given the FINAL JEOPARDY question by connecting the blog titles of the bloggers mentioned by their common word. + [blog expatbrit49] = Gripes, Whines & Musings On Life and Sex Well done, you clever girl, you. I have never forgotten it, my little wildflower. Truly. Indeed it did, gerson! Writing the categories and questions was the fun and easy part. It only took a little bit of research. I gathered all my data, but only had a rudimentary idea of how I was going to write the code for the table. And not much more of an idea how I was going to connect the answers to the questions. (I decided to worry about that later since the original concept had such obvious potential). Besides, I figured at the very least I could just publish it without a table. (I will take this opportunity to once more ask for a tech-minded mentor/samaritan to help me tighten up the cells in the dang thing. I wanna tweak this a bit and use the format in future posts). Credit will be duly noted in any future collaboration). Anyway, my first thought was to simply use a duplicate table for the questions, but I wasn't really happy with having them displayed together, and splitting them into two posts seemed to be tedious for the reader. That is when koocnachtiek tugged on my sleeve and suggested a more interactive and fun way to present BLOGLAND JEOPARDY. He offered the use of his time, and his blog, (which is quite understandable, given his circumstances). He spent 3+ hours posting 30x over there. Amazingly, all the links corresponded to the proper posts on the first try. The first hint of dawn glowed above as the weary koocna finally got horizontal. Dang! There's that long-windedness thing again. (oh well, this is no longer a mere comment-reply. it is now an essy entitled: Anatomy of an Idea. Somebody stop me! I'm mad, maD, MAD! Oh yeah, I nearly forgot my manners. Welcome to The Venting Blog, gerson. I've recently seen a few of your comments out in BlogLand, and have been meaning to pay your place a visit. I didn't know a lot of the answers because I was gone too long and lost total track of the a lot of the drama and fun... but what answers I did know brought back a lot of memories and smiles... thanks flinky Not all who wander are lost.

OMG, Keith...YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!! I have to go to work right now..and I'm going to come right back here when I get home and read this all!!! I would love it if you would give thought to the possiblity of traveling North to VA Beach in the fall. I want to organize a Va. Beach Bloggers Meet...think it could really be alot of fun as we have so many things to do here and actually have alot of bloggers that are fairly close. Hopefully others will make the trip. After season is over, rooms are ridiculously cheap right on the ocean and yet the weather is still delightful! I just posted [post 443842] ... Please give this some thought, Keith...you are not all that far away! It would be wonderful if you could make the journey to meet with us! I'm going to start the wheels in motion when Mercury goes direct! Things will be easier organizationally speaking after it does! Just a little food for thought.............
