lisning_2_U me_haliburton_&_dick damnitzgood_2b_agangsta God_luvs_only_me Laurawontswallow So...you have a hard time believing that he'd use someone's sacrifice to his own good...hmmmm...he just proposed a budget that throws us deeper in dept and cuts every social program we have in place, but more insidious than that....he thinks Military retiree's should pay more for the Health care they were promised when they were young and wet behind the ears and signed away their lives on a yellow piece of paper called a ....(drumroll please)....CONTRACT. Legal & binding. And just think people...military retirees are those guys who jumped the beach on D-Day, crawled through swamps in Vietnam, came home from Desert Storm with a strange illness still not defined, and right this very minute are losing limbs and life in Iraq - only to come home and find out that they are no longer useful to Uncle Sam and now must PAY MORE FOR THEIR MEDICAL CARE!!! Haven't they paid enough? Sorry...just a sore subject for me.... I make mistakes, I am out of control & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn
