Pree needs more screen time. I am not dead yet

. A new day now has dawned, So brightly, and ever so clear. On the tail of a fine night’s slumber, No pain yet in my rear. My sciatica has subsided, While I’m not wanting to be crass: It’s a physiological condition, That’s quite literally a pain in my ass. A new crystalline white world, Beneath thick blanket of drifted snow. First I let out the dog to explore, And I then made me a cuppa joe. It was a short work week, And a hard day’s night. Here’s another day, another chance- To maybe finally get it right! Insistently ringing doorbell, I wonder, “OK, what the Fuck?” Oh, the plows will soon arrive here, It’s time now to move my truck. It is a necessary evil, My chain they weren’t yanking. Quickly dressed, and out the door- Rescheduling my wanking. Once chipped-out and relocated, I watched the mechanical ballet. White tails rise, the comas streaming, Like from that comet, Halley. It was at the stoke of Midnight (Or was it at one second past? ) The year Ought-Nine began, Blown in on the same wintry blast. Time-keeping accountants, Studying Earths’ orbital valence. Determined that, like yours truly here, There is an unconscionable imbalance. Of a fractional minute, One-sixtieth, or so they say. Gets credited to the next two years, Likewise it was added to today. Our Earth is far from perfect, It’s wobble’s what caused this trouble. Atomic clocks established the problem, Unaided by the telescope Hubble. I stayed up way too late, I quaffed more than a single beer.
