To Witch or not to Witch?

I just finished reading " of a Witch" and before that I read "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire...



Do I like 'em? Dunno, I'm ambivalent... They are not the light hearted frivolous stories I thought I was going to read (I'm all for frivolity in regards to escapism)... They are so much deeper then the musical (well DUH)... Makes me think about stuff... Ouch!

Have your read 'em? What do you think?

I have "A lion among men" too, but need something else to ponder in between....

I just thought that they would be some fun little stories when I picked them up, but they go pretty deep into political satire, so I was kinda surprised...

 Don't do much reading but nephrology stuff at work.... don't have the time, with the music I'm trying to listen to or doing stuff I've not done because I'm at work!!!
