this ~n~ that During my break from blogland not much went on in my life except the couple of things I blogged about already. I did want to tell you all that my visit with my nieces and nephew was awesome. They are no longer angry about us not seeing and talking to them since their Father's death, the eldest now knows that it was her Mom that kept us from them not us just blowing them off. This takes a huge worry off my shoulders, now they know they still have our love and support. They seem to be doing ok, though the new man in their Mom's life is.. how do I put it, um much stricter than my brother was with them. Some of the stuff they told us about concerns all of us however, we are just going to keep our eyes and ears open at this point. If we see or hear anything we know is against the law we are going to report them.. Another thing that happened was our of 15 years passed away the day after Christmas. We shall miss her dearly. She was an outside but still she was a great dog. She use to watch over my boys when they played outside when we lived in a not so great of neighborhoods. She actually ended up running off a couple of people who were up to no good with my boys. Let me see is there anything else blog worthy  ..Not that I can remember. Oh no Titty Thursday this week, I havent had the time or privacy to get it done. The just went back to school, man this holiday break felt as long as a summer break  Even though I will love having more time to myself now ,I will miss him. I enjoyed the having him around more.. have a great day. much love {=}

Good to know that your neices & nephew now realise they have your support. Sorry to hear about your dog. I'd be lost without mine.

Sorry to hear about your dog. That is sad and hard to lose a pet no matter what age they are when they go. Titty Thurs...good to see you keeping the Titty Day alive and going~

Isn't it amazing how quiet the house is when a kid leaves? I couldn't wait until my kid moved out until she was gone, then I missed having her and her friends around. Still miss it. Get another dog.

I'm happy to hear the kids know you are still there for them. Sorry to hear about your dog...I know how much I miss mine...I hope everything else is going well some times the things that comes from between my ears makes me pause for reflection

Sometimes the friendship of a dog is better than that of a person, but usually less appreciated. May he/she rest in peace. Good to hear the children are somewhat aware of the situation. It will take them a few years to truly understan all the circumstances. Sorry, but that illegal shit just never impressed me. I simply put the fear of 3x23 into their ass. Sometimes it is a good thing to let people know that you can be the biggest asshole that they have ever meet. On the good side, no child that was ever any part of my life was ever afraid to tell me any concerns that they have ever had. Again, I don't know the person that you speak of, but trust you instincts. Maybe he actually has their best intrests in mind. Then again, it may be something else. Sounds like Mom is scared and feeling lonely, so somebody has to watch out for her also. Big job ahead dear lady. As always I'm here for any help that I can give.

Sorry to hear about the dog. It is never fun when a pet passes on.  I'm glad your visit with the Niece and Nephew went well. Stricter isn't necessarily a bad thing. But if there is anything illegal going on by all means report them.

We think along the same lines on this, being domineering usually just makes kids worse well the smarter ones at least. We've had no snow to really speak of, dang it its winter at least we could have a lovely blanket of white instead of all this dreary brown and mud decor we have now..

They have no idea how much they need us and even more so in the future. No when are remaining animals pass we are done.

We have been over there before and my husband let his prescense be know ! The kids know they can always come to me and my brother, its always been that way, now any doubts they may of had sinc eof of this started is now gone because we told them as much.. The MOm is very messed up over what happened she just wont admit it.. we have told her we are here for her still as family but so far she continues to shut us out.. thanks for the offer I might need it oneday !

We have seen them interact together a few times seems fine, almost to fine if you know what I mean, she does need support just to bad she wont reach out to us but its complicated... we will miss her but you are right she lived a happy long life thanks Coastal
