I've flown over a thousand miles one-way for almost a year's worth of distance relationship. More recently I flew every six weeks about 500 miles (one-way) for a two-year distance relationship. Of course -- there was more than merely sex in each instance. This was a long time ago. I DID fly from Chicago to Texas just to get laid once. I also flew from Chicago to Tennessee for some GREAT sex. Today I could see myself driving quite a distance (couple hours maybe?) to meet up.

I flew from Germany to the US, while I was stationed there. Knew who I wanted and made it happen.  Also set something up with a couple years ago and matched the timing with a work trip, so I flew there too. Basically Alabama to Minneapolis. What a week that was!

Living in a weird location for someone who's in-between cars in the UK, (between a few different places and a place that needs patience for public transport), and always one willing to travel, I have found I've travelled a few hours to meet people. I don't mind it- if they turn up. If we've a connection I don't mind travelling at all- I know it'll be well worth the time and effort!

I have driven over 8 hours a few times to meet the same woman. The sex was great the first and every time there after. That is the most though I have also went 3 hours away a couple of times. When the sex is good I will always make a return trip. (hahaha).

Does getting in my own airplane and flying three hours count as 'Had to get on an airplane'? I fly 3 hours one way almost every weekend to be with the wife. She makes it all worth it.

It has really depended on the situation. I once drove 7 hours to meet with a couple but I was heading that way. I drove 2 hours to meet another couple and they were fun too. For solo meets I've done 3-4 hour drives one way. More recently I'll drive up to 2 hours but I need to be convinced it will be worth the drive. I can do an hour easy. Now if it were a relationship (LD or otherwise) I'm sure I'd do whatever it took to keep it on a solid foundation. Sooner or later I'll figure this thing out...

Although not recently, I used to travel 9 to 10 months out of the year for business having lived and/or worked in around 25% of the countries in the world. A number of times I would meet someone while on a business trip and then at some later date, fly back for a week or two vacation. The vacations were always covered by frequent flier miles so all I had to come up with was the time available away from work.

6.5 hours one-way in-state yet (Pennsylvania). I would travel Friday morning to stay noon Friday thru noon Monday. Eventually, we dated and she would cover the same distance. In hindsight, the sex wasn't worth the drive... I'd be mightily pissed had I driven for sex, but I was looking for love. I've also driven 2 hours, 14 minutes to Maryland in a LDR before. Had most of our sex at my place though - only twice there as she still lived w/ dad. That sex would've been worth the drive, had it been purely physical... my only concern, is what 22 year old needs clitoral stimulating products to get up for sex?! That just seemed at odd. Sure the stuff she used the first few get-togethers was fantastic as it allowed us to go all night (6+ hours of fucking w/ little "downtime").
