Proximity Does Not Make You Attractive

If I've said it once, I've said it a bazillion times.

So, I get an IM tonight. After a brief greeting, I am told "I want to meet you."

I asked a very natural and reasonable question...."why?"

I got a predictable answer; "Because you are nearby." Oh, he started spouting off a couple of nonsensical reasons after that, none of which had any basis in reality (honestly, you just started chatting with me, how do you know that I am kinky?).

Don't get me wrong<b>...proximity </font></b>is high on my list of desirable attributes too. There are things that are higher and I don't care if you live within walking distance, I'm not meeting you just because you live nearby.

Meeting you isn't anything that even comes under consideration for quite some time.
