Finding somebody from your past

Surely I can't be the only person guilty of poking around other sites randomly (well, sort of) and coming across somebody you've slept with in the past. Maybe it was just a one night thing, maybe it went on for a while. Assuming you didn't end up hating one another, do you ever consider contacting that other person and seeing if maybe you can start something up again? Or do you take the sensible route and just let it stay dead? I always waffle between the two!
