Long Distance Relationships

Just how long do you hold on to a long distance relationship if it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere, but spinning in a circle?? You know, when you don't live that far from each other, but you hardly get to see each other, and you don't get to spend any real time together. And you start to wonder what's happening on the other end that's changed things .....

Any thoughts?

 ahhhhhh i KNEW there was somebody else out there who's been thru the same thing!! Mine's been going on for a bit longer than that, but I know exactly what you went thru.

 Yeah...I'm dealing that right now and I'm reaching that breaking point. My wife and I are apart because "she needed space". The plan, she says, is for us to spend time apart so she can get past resentments she has and appreciate the real me. But the trust isn't there for me anymore. She's been shady with me before and I'm seeing signs of it again... not answering calls/texts, dropping my calls when someone else calls (more important?), etc. I just got back from the long weekend seeing her for the first time in 3 weeks and she was more ambivalent and openly hostile than ever. Oh, and in the same vein as your other post, there was no sex so it's been... 5 weeks now. This is BS. I need some TLC...

 hi rattail. I'm here in Richmond and looking for a close distance relationship. I don't do the long distance thing and am so set in my ways I'm not sure if I should just go celibate and enjoy all of the other aspects of my life or take a chance and share.

 my longest one was 6 months and i never got to see her. I try to believe that you can hold on to one as long as everything goes well. but we all know thats not the case and these arent the old days ether. but yet it seems thats all i can find these days is long distance. wtf?
