the dreaded photos

So its a camera question this time- for anybody who's REALLY into digital photography. And before you say anything, YES, I know I could probably find this out by reading my manual, or checking the manufacturer's website, so just humor me ok??

I've got a Canon EOS30D-- is there a remote I can buy to use with it? I've always wondered how couples get some of the pics they do, and I know its not by using the timer !! Maybe they have that mysterious 3rd person in the room with them ........

There are remotes that mount on tripods that will point the camera towards you (based on an IR light you shine at it) and release the shutter.
