And now for something a little more serious

At what point do you give up on an LTR? One that youve been in for years, but there just doesnt seem to be anything left? Im tired of giving and not getting. Theres more to it than just that, but I dont think I need to cough up all the details here. Any thoughts?

I wrestle with the same thing. I've been doing this for a decade and pondering for the last 2yrs. I have no idea.

LTRs are two way streets. if you aren't getting what you need, you need to talk with them, if they can't provide or won't then the LTR is already over. hope you're doing well baby

First let me preface this by saying I am without any doubt the last person to give advice on this type of topic. Having said that all you can do is what is in your best long term interests. It might be hard to know exactly what that is so think of it this way.
If you know deep down that you are on a one way street that can only end badly for you then common sense says leave. Therein lies the problem. Common sense is rarely tied to emotions. So it comes down to this. If you can walk away knowing that you won't have to live with what if's then walk. If however you really feel that if you do what if's and serious ones will remain then stay.
Not much help I realize and you have my sympathy. One of the hardest questions to answer is when or if I should leave.

Move on now. Seek only openness and honesty. Trust is the only thing that matters. Just go from there when you find someone you can trust. Easier said than done, I know!

You don't have to give up your ltr, just get out of the house occasionally and do something you like to do,if anythings there ,they will change their ways for you.
