Are people so discrete they wont say hello in a public place????

I have meet alot of really awesome people over the last few months .Some just freinds other friends with benefits . I know that people are discrete but if i see you in a public place for example the grocery store or walmart would you say hello .
For me im all about new friends i would absolutly say hey how you doing , just wondering about the rest of you ................

 I personally would try to make eye contact and then let them make the next move, allowing them to decide they want to possibly explain who i am and how we met to whoever they are with. Just an effort to be courteous to those that want or need alot of discretion.

Everyone in my life knows i chat online, they don't need to know the site, most are aware tho, i don't hide much from people, lol, you can approve or disapprove if you wish, i live my life for me. But i do understand not all are in the situation i am and try to be courteous for that reason.

 I have struggled with this too nikki and ty for bringin it up... Me I am the type I say hi to everyone I know anywhere anytime and if i wanna explain I do if I dont I just say someone I know or freind If ppl are not cofy stoppin and chattin I guess its ok - their choice but a smile and a hello can never be too much can it? I have total strangers say hello and nod or smile back..I guess its about comfort ... now when ppl ask me who someone is that I am with when in reality i am sleepin with them in this private life...the answer will always be a friend- cuz god they execute swingers dont they lol Besides- I dont sleep with all my friends but I am always close freinds with thos I do sleep with... Id say hi ask how u and the kids were and mmm give ya a hug probably too - but im a huggy person anyways

 I would definetly say hi to you Nikki, lol i may not stop to chat for long if i have my kids (because they wont stand still), but i would definetly say hi, how are ya. LOL And if I didnt have the kids I would suggest a coffee and a chat to catch up on things. Later hun
