Vanilla sex and Erotic sex

What do you consider as vanilla sex and erotic sex? Does it matter if it is a first time with an individual?

I have always considered sex erotic. Yes some acts are more exciting but then there is a time and place for those. So to me I believe sex to be exciting and new each time. The arousal height can be varied depending on the mood of the individuals. There is times just thinking about what I have planned is just as exciting as the act itself. Then when the touching starts I about climax partly from what I have already in my mind. sex has a lot do do with the mind.

 In my opinion the situation dictates the type of sex. The mood and the type of sex all affects it. The first time is likely to have a more erotic mood than someone you have been having sex for a long time. The kinkyness of the sex also affects the eroticness. I just realised I didn't really answer the question because it just depends on the situation and individual moods.
