Say yes to the dress

Say yes to the dress

Have I mentioned how much I want to get shaggy with that plus sized zulily redheaded model lately ? Because I do . And you guys haven't been very helpful in helping me to find her either I might add .

Regardless here's the thing , on Friday there were a ton of people out of the office for reasons unknown - perhaps there was a moron conventional and they were all the keynote speaker . Super mega burn ! But one person who was there was the crossdresser dude from across the hall - their printer must have been broken because he was coming over to our area all day . As I've mentioned before this dude is a great crossdresser - if I hadn't seen him at the urinal I would have never guessed . He 100% looks like an attractive woman . Part of that is that he's always dressed flossy though probably - as you know the clothes make the man .

Anyway , it got me thinking , I assume they say the same thing about crossdressing that they say about homosexuality - its not a choice . Which would suck because that means there's people out there who are crossdressers who look like crap . Like if I was a crossdresser no matter how much time and money I spent on my crossdressing I would still just look like a dude in a dress . But then I wondered , is crossdressing even about looking like a woman ? Seems like it is , but I remember years ago seeing Eddie Izzard on Charlie Rose (or some such) and he seemed to be saying that , at least for him , it wasn't about looking like a woman - it was about the clothes you like to wear .

I mean imagine tomorrow all the women in the world get together and agree that they're just going to wear the exact same clothes that men do - does that mean crossdressers aren't a thing anymore or is that dude at me work still going to wear a snappy skirt , blouse , high heels ensemble every day ? I'm thinking maybe he would . Because you never seem to see any schlubby crossdressers - they're always decked out in fancy garments aren't they ? So maybe its about clothes and not a gender thing at all . Its hard to say .

Sometimes I think about asking this dude some of these questions but that seems disrespectful somehow . I liken it to I know a lady who's way into spanking and I try not to ask her about it too much because it seems like I'm diminishing her in some way , just focusing on that one part of her . Seems like the same kind of thing - I should only talk to this dude if I'm interested in him as a person right ? Its kind of like how I'm the "comic book guy" so that's all people talk to me about and it annoys me . Of course it would probably annoy me no matter what they wanted to talk about , but you know what I'm saying .

As you all know I hate pants and if was cool for a dude to wear a dress I totally would . Does that make me a crossdresser ? I suspect not because what I really want is to just walk around with my ding-dong flapping in the breeze . Although I do have the boobs for it .

Which reminds me , I was commenting on a blog post about colonoscopies and it put me in a mind of discussing it with someone . In said discussion my discussion person said that they give you a little paper gown to wear with a little flap in the back that she thought was ridiculous . She said she'd be fine just nuding it up . I used to be that way at the dermatologist too . They'd strip he down every year to check me out and they'd give me a little papery blanket type thing I was supposed to cover myself up with and I never did , because I don't care . But I realized the past few years its probably not for MY benefit so much as for theirs . Because they DON'T want to see my ding-dong flapping in the breeze or the rest of my unsightly body as much as they can avoid it . I mean sure that's their job , but there's no reason to rub their face in it . So to speak .

In other news I was listening to some music today while I was making Christmas fudge (because nothing is better suited to commemorate the birth of the living god than sugar) and there was a song that implied that love at first sight is not a thing , that you fall in love with someone a little bit every day . If love is a thing I bet that's true .

Here's an awesome fox

"In my day we didn't care about what a woman was feeling . Are we better off now ? I don't know . Maybe ."

Some old dude

I had a cross dressing employee who wore polo shirts and khakis. Except for his attempt at a Farrah Fawcett hair style, which I guess doesn't really mean anything, except he was just odd-looking. Once everyone got used to it, which did take some time, it wasn't a big deal.

2022... it HAS be better, right?!

That would be a little strange

Yes, in my (admittedly limited) experience, the CD's tend to femme it up big time - high heels, short skirts, etc. (surprised to read Buxy's comment, i don't believe I've ever seen someone like she describes).

And yes, someone who does it full time, as in doing it every day at work, is probably transgender. But then there are guys who just like to secretly take pictures of themselves and post them on A FF or Fetlife. Their motivation may be different.

You could always develop a kilt affectation if you dislike pants so much. Perhaps Ren Faires are in your future, or strong man competitions, or kink gatherings.

I'm not a fan of kilts , the color schemes are terrible

I think I'd enjoy seeing your ding-dong flapping in the breeze. I'll get out the lawn chair and you can run past me, naked, on the sidewalk, a couple of times. (I will let you wait til spring)

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I was thinking along the same lines as smartasswoman, you could claim Scottish heritage and wear a kilt. There was an episode of "Are You Being Served?" in which Captain Peacock wore a long narrow dress, and the others wore various hippy mod type outfits. I saw a similar outfit on one of the Limelighters ages ago on PBS. Given my rotund nature a toga might be more fitting. I could go to the parties by campus and pretend to be a drunk professor. I could give an A for some T&A. Of course they might prefer it if an A from me counted toward some class, but hey, school is supposed to be a learning experience.
