I think I already used the blogtitle Massage Boobs

"So what is real and what is imaginary? Is the distinction just in our minds?"

Stephen Hawking

I forgot to blog about the best/weirdest/whatever part of my massage yesterday . The salon/day spa where I go just changed locations recently and this was the first time I had been to the new place . I walked in there was nobody there , which is peculiar because usually the salon part is very busy . There was no one at the , I'll say reception for lack of a better word , desk so I stood there like an idiot for a while . Just about the time I was thinking about searching around for someone I saw my massage lady walk past a doorway in a little room in the back topless holding a towel or a sheet or something (but not covering anything) .

I guess maybe she was changing ? She didn't notice that I was there I guess . Point is I saw everything - her very boobs that she used to smash into my face before she got married 100% naked . I know this makes me a terrible person but it was glorious . On the other hand it got me so flustered I forgot to ask her to massage my sore thigh muscle . Which I have been hesitant to do on account of that's pretty close to "happy ending" territory .

In other news I was all happy and relaxed after my trip this weekend and then I get to work and within 5 minutes I'm enraged . For a variety of reasons but the icing on the cake was the dude (who weighs maybe 130 pounds) saying that when you weight yourself you have to "deduct the weight of the scale because that's automatically counted in" . Sometimes I swear people are pretending to be dumb just to annoy me . Its the only answer . That many people can't be that dumb . They can't .

In other other news I was reading an article on IO9 that claims "People who engage in kinky sexual practices involving such things as bondage and sadomasochism may actually be more mentally healthy than those who don't, according to a new study." It went on to say (in part) ;

"Perhaps unsurprisingly, BDSM practitioners who often played the dominant role in their sexual acts scored highest across the board, compared with submissives and switches (people who go between dominant and submissive roles). But even the submissives, who scored lowest out of those three groups, still frequently scored higher than vanilla participants on the mental health surveys (and never lower). LiveScience explains:

The new results reveal that on a basic level, BDSM practitioners don't appear to be more troubled than the general population. They were more extroverted, more open to new experiences and more conscientious than vanilla participants; they were also less neurotic, a personality trait marked by anxiety. BDSM aficionados also scored lower than the general public on rejection sensitivity, a measure of how paranoid people are about others disliking them.

People in the BDSM scene reported higher levels of well-being in the past two weeks than people outside it, and they reported more secure feelings of attachment in their relationships, the researchers found."

I checked out the paper itself and its interesting . I don't know if I believe it , but regardless I feel like as always people are drawing the wrong conclusion from the findings . People seem to interpret this as "BDSM will make you mentally healthy" whereas it seems to me that its far more likely that the reverse is true - that people who are mentally healthy are more likely to be interested in BDSM . If true of course .

Healthy !

And now more complaining about work . They took away incentive last month (which I think was a good thing) and now no one can understand why productivity is way down this month . They changed the internal job board to switch it from being "okay" to 700% worthless and no one can understand why external job postings are way up . We switched to flex scheduling a while ago and I am sick to death of people talking about it . After the 900th time someone asked me "would you rather work with Mondays off or Fridays off" I said "I'd rather work with my pants off ." They didn't even notice .

This morning when I went to the bathroom my urine was bright bright yellow - like lemon yellow sincerely . I know that dark yellow means you're dehydrated but what the fuck does that mean ?

I have several more complaints I could lodge but I suppose that's good for one day . Also I can't tell quite what I wanted to blog about - why do I insist on making my blognotes so cryptic ? Because I'm difficult , that's why .

I frequently get massage therapy from a guy I used to sleep with. It's cool, because he's a complete professional about what he DOES there in the office, but I get extra-special treatment and he will put me in a bunch of different stretches and massage "further" than he would with a regular client, just because we're still comfortable with each other and great friends. We also talk about our various newest relationships and sex lives.

Interesting information on the BDSM. Maybe or maybe not surprising. I definitely know domming takes a ton of confidence and creativity. Though, I think there are probably a lot of screwed up people still in it.

BTW - happy endings should be legal. Don't know what the huge deal is there.

Well , if you assume there's some kind of good reason for "normal" prostitution to be illegal I would assume the happy ending would be a slippery slope to full on penetration

That BDSM study, of course, was greatly publicized amongst my kinkster friends. I think it's probably a combination of the people who like it being somewhat mentally healthy (leaving out the 5% nutjob factor); and the fact that if you actually get involved in a kink "community" people tend to be very accepting and nonjudgmental. "You like wearing diapers? Not my thing, but hey whatever floats your boat, it's all good."

And re, intenda's question, I remember when I was in my 20's I had a friend who was going to school to learn massage therapy. As part of their training, they of course had opportunities to massage actual clients and I remember her telling me about a guy who got an erection while she was massaging him - what she said to me about it was "eeeeewwww gross!". I remember then thinking that she probably wasn't cut out for that profession, lol. To me it seems like a natural reaction and it's the professional's job to ignore it.

Excess B vitamins will make urine yellow, depending on the source of the vitamins it can also impart a clover or alfalfa smell. A pointless aside would be that it is also true of butter. Too a certain extent you can tell what the cow was eating. It's easy to tell the difference between butter from cows fed grain and cows fed hay. I'm pervy enough to fantasize about seeing if that is true of human breast milk too {using B vitamins, not actual grass unless we're in Colorado}

A coworker that used to talk with another coworker until he found out that that coworker repeated his stories used to "Leave tracks" when he'd get a massage.. The therapist was always very professional.

Prostitution is illegal, unless you portray one on a porno film. Don't know why cameras make it legal, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
