Favorite Sexual Positions There have been a few blog posts going around about this topic lately. I'm suddenly feeling inspired (or maybe I just don't want to take up TOO much space commenting elsewhere). What constantly amuses me is all the variety of positions that occur while making love, that long afterwards I browse through a book or look online and "Oh, hey! There's actually a name for that!" The sex position books now kinda make me think "that is all they are doing beginning to end". Like a couple pics "we're going to do THIS position". Maybe those with more and different experience than I have can confirm or deny if it's like that. Ever. What makes sex great (beyond the mental and emotional connection... and the lust and passion): Being open-minded. Curious. Creative. Adventurous. Adaptable. Sometimes I feel I'm a freak, that I change things up too much. That "normal" people just pick one and stick to it. Besides all the foreplay... well, sometimes sex is a "mostly the same position, low energy" kind of thing. Because sometimes you really want to play but the day has just been hell, you're physically wiped out... And sometimes it ranges all over the house, or all over the bed (then the floor if you happen to fall out). It's all in the moment. One of my favorite positions: The Lotus Position  Funny thing, I couldn't find any pics of people actually IN this position. Variations but not THIS. Until I searched for "doggy style". Odd. Really, I lack the patience to go try and find pics of various positions I love. Let's just say "All of them" (minus those requiring acrobatic training) and call it good. Missionary, or variations thereof, is actually my favorite position thus far. The sensations are just deeper, and when done right... well, I don't really know what my body does. I like to think small bits of squirting or female ejaculation. No other position (yet) brings that intensity. I do, however, still want to try it where I'm standing on one foot, leaning slightly over the kitchen sink, one foot propped up on the handle of the stove. I've only ever experienced wild foreplay in that position before, but... well, I really should have just yelled "do me now!" but at the time we hadn't mentally (at least I hadn't) moved past the shock of "wild foreplay" part. A nice,<b> platonic </font></b>evening of watching movies gets ruined quick when the woman you're with says "Pardon me, do you mind if I encroach upon your personal space?" and after receiving an affirmative answer crawls onto your lap for a deep kiss. I truly only wanted a kiss. Bad things happen when the Inner Temptress is let loose. And this pic just greatly amused me:  If any readers want to share their "favorite" positions, I'd love to hear  Or positions you've not yet tried but wish to.

I like that lotus position too. Haven't done it in many years though. I'm not that flexible anymore to get too adventurous. Getting a cramp at the wrong time kills the mood. Mostly I've been in the ln (2 pi) position of late.  AB No Bozos

We were both doing the "let's not think it over, let's just see what happens" thing. The intent on both sides was platonic movie watching but there was enough sexual chemistry that a few innocent touches just started things rolling. Though the naked foreplay all around the house thing didn't happen till much later. BTW: Couch sex is great too Though it's been years for me. Last time I tried... my ex was all "What are you doing?" Umm... obviously nothing, never mind. I'll just grab my book.

( Not the smaller photo, in the photo. ) I've done a doggy-style version that I really want to try again. It was basically a slight leg stretch which was then grabbed and moved and OMG! Think doggy style but with one leg lifted and wrapped around his waist and your body flowing comfortably along that line. Hm... I think my description sucks I only did it the once, by happenstance.
