The heart of a man...

The heart of a man,
truly a riddle,
an endless journey,
to frustrations middle,

Ask him a question,
the answer goes unspoken,
words do come out,
in darkness you're still broken,

Touch his soul,
make him pause,
query his mind,
dig in your claws,

A woman is beautiful,
a man is not,
she knows how to keep him,
he doesn't know what he's got,

Yes the heart of a man,
is there really such thing?
An oxymoron of sorts,
without her he's nothing...
