In the lifestyle and balance? s it better to have friends who are also in the lifestyle or just fuck strangers who are not? The balance with work, family, and friends can be delicate and sensitive. We think it would be nice to have friendships with people who are lifestyle friendly however, complete strangers are just that... not complicated? What are your thoughts? |

We all start out as strangers and first encounters are very exciting. But at the end of the day we think it's better to be able to spend time with friends we have come to trust. And I'm getting older, not her, so springing into action at a moments notice isn't really going to happen. Friends understand that a little planning can make recreational sessions more fun. Strangers don't.

I prefer recurring partners. Each gets to know what works for the other, and what's good once is better again. But novelty has its attractions too -- but I'd rather have a good one-time encounter be the start of a recurring thing than a one-time-only thing.

Friends is definitely better. Its fun to meet strangers, but even more fun to welcome them into your group.

Both aspects are attractive. The thought of that random encounter screams with sexual energy and is very appealing, but having a connection also leads to a deeper intimacy aspects. I think if you can find that balance you would have a great time, you and your partner/significant other go out and meet up with a random friend or couple. Enjoy some naked time individually or in a group and its the best of both worlds.

So you're looking for people you can do things with (other than sexual activities) who also understand your lifestyle and would join from time to time? That certainly sounds plausible. Are there any local swingers clubs or adult clubs in the area? Perhaps a local chapter could be started if there's enough interest.

We think it would be nice to have friends in the game. The thought process is that there are always things to do in and out of the bedroom or kitchen or adult theater! LOL

Strangers can be arousing, but it depends on the venue. In a dark theatre or arcade booth, it's very arousing, but going to someone's home seems to be less so for me nowadays. I understand wildthing2575's point of view about the more difficulty in getting aroused from strangers as one gets older, and I'm far from being "old."

well, im probably a bit biased since im a stranger and trying to get into her pants (among other things  ) but to me meeting strangers is exhilarating and quite the turn on. it gives me butterflies and makes my blood pulse harder!

Maybe it's because we are older, we find we have more fun if we know the people some plus with a social outside activity. Just meeting strangers and getting it on is uncomplicated but a little harder to arousal since we aren't familiar. It was easier when we were in our 30's.
