2 days of delightfully cooler weather...and ducks
But fear not..
Hot weather is going to be back again..

Youngest is into pressing flowers... between wax paper and squashing them in a heavy book.. and here I thought that beautiful flowers would be seen from my kitchen window.. but nooo...I see one flower here.. one flower there.. and carefully trimmed green plants minus their flowers... pffttt...

on the serious side.. I'm sorry that there is a big fire going on in the mountains of BC...so far no smoke has made it here.. but it will...

and I'm also sorry that so many storms of magnitude have been going through the north country of Alberta...wow.. That's about all I can say...except.. if they didn't have bad luck as farmers, they would have no luck at all...

We managed to get a few sprinkles on our farm.. Maybe the crops will be alright now..It's worrisome when the hot weather also comes with winds...

and.. we're still waiting for the newest arrival in our family.. Maybe soon??
Meanwhile the new mom to be is getting a bit impatient..and I don't blame her!

 This hot weather is bad for the fires.....rain is needed everywhere. We checked the weather in Hawaii and it is saying rain on Friday, our arrival date!
