Snow drifts, hurricane winds.. black ice
Today, though the thermometer says 1 degree celcius...
It's sunny out...

But that hasn't stopped people from sliding into the ditch when a gust of wind blows them off the road..

and yet...

We are still on the highways.. still driving all over the city.. still visiting the neighbors...

 The neighbor with the shovel on the front of his ATV.. very kindly shovelled around the block.. It's a narrow path, but it beats the 4 foot high snow drift that was there before...

 I could live there! I refuse to let that stuff get in my way. It just becomes a part of the job at hand. Although, I will admit that since retirement, some things just don't seem to get the attention they used to

 I haven't been on the road in two days. Trying to save gas as it is going up on Sunday (carbon tax)

You bet it is... my face is cold.. I went to get the mail... took 20 minutes trying to walk over snow drifts and on slippery walks...sheesh...

Unfortunately, I won't get a rebate! Won't get one until the wife retires, and that's not in the near future!
I do agree with "why tax us, if you give money back" ....dahhhh!!!!!
