Where there's a fire...
Well.. when I first saw the smoke billowing up into the sky, it scared me a bit..

And then I realised that the wind was blowing the smoke to the south and to the east... Not near me.. so I relaxed a bit.. and was thankful ..

Now that we know that 3 houses burned.. others were damaged.. people in this town are rallying around to help..They have set up a place to take donations of food, clothing.. house items.. and they have set up a gofundme page for the victims of the fire... ( mostly to avoid getting a bunch of old toasters I think)
People in this town are so awesome...

I was able to meet more people n my neighborhood by standing on the corner watching smoke billowing up.. than I have all together in the last 3 years.

In the back of my mind, I was grateful that it wasn't the Tim Horton's that was on fire...That was a bit selfish.. but still I had that thought..
We JUST got that Tim Horton's.. Sheesh...

Tonight on the news we will find out .. maybe.. what started the fire..
It was impressive .. and the pictures put on the Fa_ce book page explained alot

So.. I am grateful to live here.. where people are kind hearted and want to help others in desparate need...

Going to watch the news in a bit, to learn more about what i can do to help...
It's not my neighborhood.. but you never know....maybe there's something I can do.

 I just saw the news and immediately thought of you! I was at the Canyons and drove past there shortly before....I never saw any smoke

 The pattern looks like a natural gas explosion from the center home

I drove by there about half an hour before.. everything was ok...

A guy mentioned seeing a fireball coming off the neighbor's house at the start...
About half way through the black smoke phase, there was quite a large kaboom.. .. so maybe....

yes indeed.. 3 houses burned and many more damaged..
3 families that lost everything in the fire..
There isn't much that I fear more than fire...
