10 Random Holiday Questions 10 Random Holiday Questions 1. What kind of “beings” are the “people” of Whoville from the story The Grinch? What is your best guess? 2. What kind of “Roast Beast” are you having this Christmas? 3. In the Movie “A Christmas Story”, Ralph wants a Red Ryder BB Gun, but his parents, teacher, and Santa all warn him “You will poke your eye out,” so my question to you is what was Red Ryder BB Gun gift did you want as a ? Did your receive it? 4. Have you ever had an unexpected Christmas dinner flub up like in the movie “A Christmas Story”- where those “damn Bumpuses’ hound dogs” ate the Turkey dinner- what I mean is did your Christmas dinner ever fail or get ruined? 5. Do your remember Scrooge and his answer to the men collecting charitable contributions for the poor? “Are there no workhouses?” Are there no prisons? Have you felt like Scrooge (“Bah Humbug”) during the holidays and why? 6. Ebenezer Scrooge’s one main regret is the breakup of his engagement by his “true love, Belle,” and I am wondering have you ever experienced a regret of unrequited love? 7. 1. What kind of “beings” are the “people” of Whoville from the story The Grinch? What is your best guess? I am thinking they are Elves! 2. What kind of “Roast Beast” are you having this Christmas? I think we are having Ham and maybe a Turkey too! 3. In the Movie “A Christmas Story”, Ralph wants a Red Ryder BB Gun, but his parents, teacher, and Santa all warn him “You will poke your eye out,” so my question to you is what was Red Ryder BB Gun gift did you want as a kid? Did your receive it? I wanted a drum set so bad. One year my dad bought me a snare drum...it was ok, but the following year...I got a my drum set with cymbals.....wow! 4. Have you ever had an unexpected Christmas dinner flub up like in the movie “A Christmas Story”- where those “damn Bumpuses’ hound dogs” ate the Turkey dinner- what I mean is did your Christmas dinner ever fail or get ruined? No ruining of my dinners, but I did make oyster dressing one year and my family was not too hip to that new " dressings" I made! 5. Have you felt like Scrooge (“Bah Humbug”) during the holidays and why? When my ex told me she wanted a divorce, she told this to me a week before Christmas. I was not too keen on Christmas for awhile, but for my daughter's sake, I faked it. 6. I have one true regret...my first love...I sometimes think "what if." 7. What is your favorite Christmas movie? I like the several variations of " A Christmas Carol".....fun movie with a positive message! 8. Do recall the most famous reindeer of all? How do those toys from Misfit Island arrive at their Island? And the King of Misfit Island, King Moonracer, is he a real lion or is he a stuff toy? I think he is a Stuffed Lion in charge of all those Misfits....and I think those Misfit toys are picked up by KIng Moonracer...he does after all has wings! 9. Who is your favorite character from Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (besides Rudolph)? Why? I like Yukon Cornelius...he is so upbeat! 10. Lastly, in the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” George Bailey wishes he was never born, and he learns his error of his wish. My question to you, have you ever felt like George Baily and who was your “guardian angel” that helped you through the trying times? I had this elderly lady who was in my bible study group while I was going through a divorce who took me under her wings....she mothered me....made dinner for me...talked to me...I called her my faux mom.
