lol love this form of venting or chatting...another day in the trenches....getting ready for work going to go cook for hungry people....need to find time to cook for me i love to bake and its the season....breads cakes pies cookies ...mmmm did i mention cookies....gotta love the warm inviting scent of baked goodies in the air....love the fall season dont you....football yeah baby falling leaves pretty colors and baking special goodies that make your mouth water and tempt you to say diet what the hell does that mean....mmmmmm can you smell cinnamom in the air from a warm baked just out of the oven apple pie......or the hint of yeast and flour from the two loaves of homemade bread waiting to come out.....ok can anyone tell im hungry lol have a great day Patty,...go Ottawa Pirates......woo hoo tomorrow big big game....cya

 Care to share an apple pie recipe? I have been in the mood to bake one lately for some odd reason.

 sure love to swap recipes ....let me know i have a great crust recipe i have used for years...i used the crisco sticks recipe and i use ice water make sure its ice water ....makes it better and flaker and of course use sugar on your crust when you put it in the oven....make your apples more cinnamom tasting than your recipe calls for...just a tad more and use butter inside the apple pie filling just before putting top crust on makes it mouth watering good...let me know ok Patty
